Joyous Jonathan

If there is one person who can smile from ear to ear...literally...it's my jovial and jubilant nephew, Jonathan Edward. I say that name with pride because his middle name is representative of my father, his G'pa D! And, he certainly lived up to his reputation. He is orderly and methodical with his business; expects perfection from himself; and has a creative flair like no other I know. Well, kinda like Grandpa D's ties. They were quite creative and flavorful; full of spunk! He also has a mouth that replicates G'pa's and delivers the Word of God.

Jon is a nephew who has a "Dr. Dolittle" sense toward animals (he has a little "Ponch" pawprint etched in his heart), treats his daughters with tenderness, beams when he stares at his wife, takes pride in his name, loves God, provides for his family, banters with his brothers, adores his parents (and aunty)  :), and treats g'ma with respect.

As a child, he would stay up late into the night and generate creative pieces of art or keep his toys company. He also loved to wrap presents on Christmas Eve and watch C'mas movies with the aunties. At the very end of the Christmas celebrations, Santa Jon would strut into the living room with his HUGE smile, and pass out gifts that he purchased with his coins. I still have my Santa mug and it prompts a BIG, BIG SMILE when I begin my holiday decorating...how appropriate! (Now I have little "joy" tears.) Thank you for the memories, Jonathan!

On this very special BIRTHDAY, I pray God's joyous blessings on your life, family, ministry, and business! May His JOY continue to consume you and become contagious with those whom you come in contact. You are wonderfully and joyfully created, with sprinkles of giggles!

You are loved much!!!

BLESSINGS: "...for the JOY of the Lord is your strength." Nehemiah 8:10

Jon brings a great deal of pride and respect to our family. He keeps a lot of things in his heart and there is a place there for all of us. He is a hard worker and is always thinking of a better way to do things. Creative Jon has a bright future! God has been good to our family!!
