Yep. I betcha didn't know that Tinkerbell is really a gymnast, hence, the ability to so gracefully glide across the magical Disney skies from Cinderella's Castle, at dusk.
And, I know her!!!
She is a little blond, blue-eyed, sparkling lil' Miss with a whopping dose of feistiness, uh, like her Auntie Lulu! uh-huh. I am Tinkerbell's auntie. Imagine that! It's all about the imagination, you see. Oh, and did I mention that she is also a fabulous "Fruit-Loop" jewelry designer from her WEAR - N - SNACK collection. They're delicious!
Our lil' T'Bell recently celebrated her grand b'day. The opening ceremonies at the Beijing Olympics can't even compare to August 8th, the day she somersaulted into the world! (Hey, maybe we'll see her compete in the gymnastics category some year!) I remember when her daddy, my nephew, called to let me know that I was a gr8 auntie! I felt blessed and honored to welcome our little Melissa into the family! I did a few cartwells (okay, jumps) myself.
So, here she is, her own little individual with a heart of gold (as she takes care of and loves her little brother and cousins), and a little girl who can cheer up a room with her winning smile.
You are much loved, Lil' Melissa!
Tinker-Melissa-bell Blessings: May you be protected by heaven's strongest angels, our blessed little one, and may our loving, Heavenly Father from above, grant you strength, health, wit-n-wisdom; strengths of which you already possess and of which make you the "winning Olympian" in our eyes, every time!!! May you be sprinkled in lotsa Pixie Dust, lil' Melissa!!! (aka as "God's blessings" in little-girl talk.)
A gymnast's scripture: "For by Thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall!" Psalms 18:29 (Now, that's what I call real sportsmanship, or would that be sportswomanship?)
